‘Tis the season for beverage drinkers to get in line and pitch a tent, at least for those who want to keep their drinks ice-cold all day long in enormous, holiday-centric cups. It’s been more than a year since the Stanley Quencher cup took TikTok by storm, but the demand for the Stanley tumbler remains popular on #WaterTok. As hard as it once was to get your hands on a Stanley Quencher, it’s also challenging to bring home the brand’s latest edition, a collaboration between Starbucks and Stanley in the form of a holiday-red Quencher.

Starbucks x Stanley Has Arrived

Not since Carlos Santana and Matchbox 20’s Rob Thomas released the groundbreaking 1999 hit “Smooth” has there been a collaboration that gained as much fanfare as that of Starbucks and Stanley. The collaboration has eager shoppers camping out in front of their local Starbucks in hopes of bringing home a 40-ounce Stanley Quencher in a festive shade of red. The seasonal reusable cup made its quiet debut at Starbucks locations on November 2, and it has been flying off shelves ever since. Each year, Starbucks famously celebrates the holiday season by serving hot beverages in red single-use cups, and this year’s collaboration with Stanley takes the tradition to the next level.

The Starbucks x Stanley cup retails for $49.95 (if you can get your hands on one in-store). For those who aren’t willing to sleep outside of a Starbucks store or get in line before dawn, sites like eBay and Poshmark are the next best option. The catch? Ultra-inflated prices. The seasonal Stanley Quencher is selling for more than $200 on eBay, with some TikTokers boasting about reselling them for $300 a piece, and some priced as high as $800 on Poshmark. There is no official word yet if and when the cups will be restocked.

It’s not hard to see why the Stanley tumbler is beloved. The cup keeps your beverage cold for hours, even in extreme heat (including an actual fire), and is incredibly durable. If you aren’t unwavering in your commitment to bring home a Starbucks x Stanley Quencher, there are plenty of other colors available, including a deep red called Rosewood Glow and the marble-like Polar Swirl. Already have a Stanley Quencher? Then you’re definitely going to want to add this adorable Stanley ornament to your tree.
