With the popularity of the Pumpkin Spice Latte, one would think the first day of fall (September 22) would be the day Starbucks brings the cult-favorite drink back to the menu. But the PSL made its debut earlier in the year, on September 5.

To celebrate fall, Starbucks is launching two items in its brick-and-mortar stores that line up with the vibe and feel of the season, and we think you’re going to be very excited about both of them.

The first is a Maple Pecan Latte. It’s inspired by “classic fall flavors and the iconic changing leaves of the season,” says Starbucks. The beverage features the brand’s signature espresso and notes of maple syrup, pecan, and brown butter. While the Seattle-based coffee chain has offered maple espresso-based drinks in the past — like the Maple Macchiato in the U.S. and Canada, and the Golden Maple Latte in Singapore — this is the first time it is offering the Maple Pecan Latte.

“Our espresso shot is the core of our handcrafted beverages,” Debbie Antonio, a member of the Starbucks Beverage Research and Development team, says in a statement. “The flavors of maple and pecan perfectly balance the inherent sweet and nutty flavors of espresso. The result is a smooth and well-rounded handcrafted beverage that customers can personalize to truly make theirs.”

The second item isn’t a drink — it’s a limited-edition fall cup boasting “fun and vibrant tones” that also complement the season. The cups come in jewel-toned colors of plum, teal, and orange and tall, grande, and venti sizes. The cups feature white dots and hand-drawn designs of a pie, an owl or a pumpkin.
