Every September it’s not the school supplies or apple picking adventures that mark the final return of fall — it’s the arrival of Starbucks’ Pumpkin Spice Latte. Seriously, that sweet, baking-spiced brew is like a cozy cashmere sweater in a cup. And now the coffee chain is about to take your coveted PSL and take it to the next level.

After debuting on the menu last year, pumpkin-flavored whipped cream is finally returning to Starbucks. Meant for both hot and iced PSLs, the sweet topping is made with real pumpkin, cinnamon, ginger, clove, and nutmeg.

Apparently the green mermaid is blessing us with this freebie to celebrate the PSL’s 14th birthday. (Can you believe it’s been around that long?!) The catch, of course, is that you can only snag the seasonal whip for four days — from Thursday, October 5 to Sunday, October 8 at participating stores in the U.S. and Canada.

But who’s to say you can only get it on a PSL? Take full advantage of its extremely limited time on the menu and order it on the brand-new, ultra-buzzy Maple Pecan Latte. Or top off your next mocha Frappuccino. Mmm, pumpkin spice mania never tasted so good.
