It doesn’t take much for me to convince myself that I need a gorgeous piece of serveware — especially when it’s on-theme for the season. I’m talking about items like heart-shaped mugs for Valentine’s Day and flower-shaped plates for spring. Both examples I’m referencing, unsurprisingly, come from Le Creuset. While other retailers regularly put out seasonal collections, the iconic stoneware brand has proven time and time again that it does it best.

So, it comes as no surprise that yet another seasonal gem has earned a spot on my wish list this summer. Le Creuset is offering stunning star-shaped plates that’ll be picture-perfect for your Fourth of July gathering. (Of course, they’ll also make your regular meals so much more fun year-round.) The holiday will get here sooner than you think, so don’t wait too long to add them to your cart. But first, keep reading for all of the details!

What Are the Star Plates?

Available in festive red, white, and blue, this set will be an instant showstopper this summer. The glazed hues are vibrant in typical Le Creuset fashion, but you can opt for the more neutral white if you want a more understated look. Even so, the unique shape will stand out on your table, with each plate measuring about 8 inches. The glossy coating also has the benefit of making them easy to clean in the dishwasher and durable — it’ll be a long while before you see any signs of wear. In fact, our SVP of Content, Faith, has owned her Dutch oven from the brand for over a decade and it’s still going strong.

Even if you use these plates every day (and you totally should!), they’ll look and perform just as great as the day you got them in the mail. Plus, they’ll make even your regular weeknight meals special (why get normal plates when you can get star-shaped ones, right?). The Fourth of July is only a few weeks away, though, so now’s the time to snag the set if you want them to arrive in time!
