Showstopper: Hazelnut Brown Butter Cake with Chocolate Ganache
We had planned to write a post about the rising cost of food, or something equally serious. But any pretensions of gravity flew out the window as soon as we saw this cake, attached to the magic words: Hazelnut. Brown. Butter. Cake.
Instead of intelligent dialogue about politicians looking to the oil when they should be looking to the wheat, our minds can only daydream about further gilding the lily. We plan to serve this cake with the ganache and Suzanne Goin’s original garnish of poached pears. Now that’s a serious post.
