Q: I’m wondering if I should remodel my kitchen without a traditional oven. I have a two-bedroom condo with a tiny kitchen. I’m thinking of remodeling and putting in a cooktop and using a Breville Smart Oven in lieu of a range or wall oven.

The thought being I’d rather have the extra storage and counter space when not in use. I’m usually cooking for myself or a small group. The Breville could go in a drawer (or in a closet right around the corner) when not in use to free up counter space.

The negatives I see are mostly in resale. I’d like to know if anybody has gone this route and what people think.
