If you love to host friends at your place, but you’re more of an appetizer aficionado than a sit-down-dinner-party pro, you need to add these chicken skewers with peanut sauce to your recipe repertoire.

This recipe transforms plain ol’ boneless, skinless chicken breast into an irresistibly flavorful dish by cooking it on the grill. If you’re lucky enough to live somewhere warm enough to grill outside, by all means, do it. If you are living in a winter wonderland or don’t own a grill, you can easily use an indoor grill pan to achieve similar results.

The real key to success here lies in the sauce. A mixture of peanut butter, soy sauce, rice vinegar, lime juice, and sesame oil, it’s rich, creamy, salty — pretty much everything you’d want in a dipping sauce.

Serve these at your next get-together and watch your guests go nuts over them. Get it? Peanuts? (I tried.)
