Remember this loaf pan? There’s more where that came from. Austrian enamelware company Riess makes beautiful objects for the kitchen, including this line of enameled storage canisters. Elegant and understated, they’d look awesome sitting out on the countertop.

Every enamelware piece by Riess — a small Austrian family company that’s been making enamelware for over 200 years — is handmade from a single piece of steel coated with four layers of enamel and then baked in a kiln. The enamel is scratch-resistant, dishwasher-safe, and features an ash wood lid with an airtight plastic seal — great for storing things like coffee, tea, or anything you’d want to protect from air and light.

Even better? They stack neatly and securely on top of each other, and you can write on them with a chalk pen. A little bit of a splurge, but that doesn’t stem our admiration.
