I’m a chocolate-and-peanut-butter-lover through and through. The salty-sweet combination goes great in no-bake cookies and dessert bars, novelty spreads, ice cream, you name it. In fact, my favorite ice cream of all-time is chocolate peanut butter cookie dough (which sadly I can only find at the beloved Ben & Bill’s Chocolate Emporium on Martha’s Vineyard).

It will surprise no one that I’m a huge fan of Reese’s peanut butter cups. Ever since I was a kid, they’ve been one of my favorite candies. I’d sort through my trick-or-treating pile in search of their iconic orange packaging. So when I heard that Reese’s was releasing a new jumbo-sized cup, I had to see how it compared to the original.

What You Should Know About Reese’s Jumbo Milk Chocolate Peanut Butter Cup

Reese’s-lovers, rejoice! The brand has been busy launching new snacks, (no-bake) desserts, and confections in the last few years, with seemingly zero plans to stop. The latest edition to the delicious lineup is a limited-edition jumbo milk chocolate peanut butter cup — just in time for the summer. The colossal cup is quadruple the size of a standard cup (or the equivalent of a full king-sized pack), and is available at retailers nationwide.

My Honest Review of Reese’s Jumbo Milk Chocolate Peanut Butter Cup

The new Reese’s jumbo cup is huge and hefty. Roughly the size of my palm, the jumbo cup comes in the same bright-orange packaging with its own little cardboard tray, like most other Reese’s cups. Reese’s fans will instantly recognize that classic milk chocolate exterior and signature, slightly grainy, peanut butter center.

One small difference is the ratio of chocolate to peanut butter. The size of the Jumbo Cup requires more chocolate to fill the mold, which results in a thicker layer than you’d find in your standard cup. But overall it has the same classic taste.

Unlike the standard cups, I didn’t finish the whole thing in one sitting. I left some to munch on later that day, which “Later Me” very much appreciated. It would make a good road-trip snack to share, or a fun gift for people who really can’t get enough of that peanut butter and chocolate combo. Or you could follow my lead and enjoy one at your desk midweek.
