Pretty Kitchen Details: Plus Tea Towels by Willow Ship

I have a collection of towels in my kitchen, and most of them are practical, durable workhorses perfect for dealing with the mess of cooking. But I do have a weakness for pretty tea towels, and like to have a couple on hand for drying my (clean!) hands and just generally making my kitchen feel homey. I just found these Plus Towels from Willow Ship, and I love everything about them.

Made of 100% linen, the towels come in three colors — plum, grey, and maize — and are all block-printed and hand sewn by Blake Kahan of Willow Ship. Kahan says her inspiration comes from "California coastal and desert living, scandinavian minimalism, midcentury textiles & furniture, and the earthy, organic, mellow vibe of the 60s and 70s."

Simple, modern, lovely. I want all three!
