I have to admit, I long for the day when I can plan my dinner parties well and have enough kitchen space to plate individual courses. For now, family style portions help keep the meal moving quickly from kitchen to table. How does it work in your home?

Do you use a warming drawer to keep plates ready for the main course and chill your salad plates? Do you incorporate restaurant style squeeze bottles and other plating details to make your plates just so? Or do you prefer serving family style so guests help themselves? What are your best tips for keeping the meal moving so food stays hot and fresh from kitchen to table?
