Just Like You, Ree Drummond Also Wants to Hang Out with Ina Garten

The only person in food television that comes close to being as universally beloved as Ina Garten is Ree Drummond. But it turns out, Ree is just like us: she dreams of getting to be on television with Ina, too.

In an interview with Fox News, the Pioneer Woman discussed what she was up to next (including that dog treat line with Purina). Over the course of the interview she talks about all of the folks she has worked with over the years, including the time she did a “Throwdown” with Bobby Flay in 2010, whom she will always hold a special place for in her heart — and kitchen. She also shouts mentions of a few other stars, and that she “absolutely loved” working with the Season 11 winner of Food Network Star, Eddie Jackson.

But there’s one Food Network star she hasn’t worked with that she would love to get in the kitchen with.

“If I had to pick one, it would be tough,” the Pioneer Woman told Fox News. “But, my longtime love is Ina Garten, I’ve loved her since she started her show.” Ina’s a busy woman, but it sounds like if she wants to fulfill Ree’s wish, she’ll have to head to Pawhuska: Ree says it’s hard for her to get away from the ranch, her family, and her businesses in Oklahoma. Sounds a little like something off of Reddit’s “Choosing Beggars” channel to us. But still, imagine this: Ina and Ree hanging on the ranch, throwing a dinner party.
