If you told us a year ago that there would be a waitlist with a thousand-plus people for a slightly bougie salad dressing ingredient, we wouldn’t have believed you. But, it’s the year 2021, and as we’ve all learned: Never say never! The pantry staple in question? The Apple Cider Vinegar from Pineapple Collaborative. This aesthetically pleasing bottle of expertly crafted goodness has been sold out since the holiday season and, months later, it’s finally making its grand re-debut. And the people have been patiently waiting!

The Apple Cider Vinegar

Buy: The ACV, $24 for 13.5 ounces at Pineapple Collaborative

These bespoke bottles cost $24 a pop and have become wildly popular. According to the company, this item sold out four separate times last year, which means that when the opportunity presents itself to get your hands on some, you should. You can also order The ACV directly from Pineapple Collaborative or from Crate & Barrel, where it just hit shelves.

Not only does this glass bottle with a wooden stopper look incredibly beautiful on a countertop, but the contents within it are also pretty great too. What makes it worth the price tag? Well, this particular vinegar is made with organic Gravenstein, Red Rome Beauty, Golden Delicious, and Pink Pearl apples in collaboration with farmer and producer Joanne Krueger, of Little Apple Treats orchard.

All of the apples are hand-harvested, which goes to show just how much attention to detail went into making The ACV. As Pineapple Collaborative denotes, “Like a good wine, apple cider vinegar will age nicely.”

What to do when you do get your hands on some? First, feel free to drink it straight. Each bottle comes with a live “mother vinegar” (read: probiotic-rich strands of protein, making it a gut-friendly go-to). The ACV also makes for a great addition to salad dressings, marinades, baked goods, and even cocktails. And did we mention it looks great on a countertop?
