Philadelphia Cream Cheese’s New $20 Kit Will Give You Cheesecake Shaped Like a Designer Handbag

Cheesecake has always had a pretty fervent following. The Golden Girls famously enjoyed a slice during their most memorable kitchen conversations, and variations of this dessert have existed on holiday tables for decades. But traditionally, cheesecake has been just that — dessert. 

Now, however, thanks to Philadelphia Cream Cheese, this tasty ingredient is being envisioned as a wearable accessory — and the holidays may never be the same. Donning the apt name of the Philly Handbag, this handbag is made of … well, obviously, cheesecake. 

Available exclusively on Amazon for $19.10, the Philly Handbag Cheesecake Kit comes with step-by-step instructions and materials necessary to bake a cheesecake creation that you can then eat — or wear (if you’re into that!) with pride. As this is meant to be a handbag that may or may not be inspired by Chanel, it’ll come with “quilted leather” fondant, a silver encrusted chain and, a very creamy interior.

The “handbag” also comes with a Philly double P clasp, as is appropriate for a trendy designer handbag. What the kit won’t contain unfortunately, though, is cream cheese — but each kit will include coupons to go grab that at the store to help you complete your project.

We’re encouraging everyone to bake their own creations and remember the rich experience and smooth creamy taste Philly provides, from the moment you open the first brick all the way to the last bite.”
