We’re pretty sure if Santa had a nightcap, it would be this frosty peppermint mule. It’s one of the most festive drinks we know — and it couldn’t be easier to make. Begin by dusting off that bottle of peppermint schnapps and breaking out the copper mugs. Then fill each mug with crushed ice, add a splash of vodka and the peppermint schnapps, and top with plenty of crispy, spicy ginger beer. Don’t forget the crushed candy canes and fresh mint leaves for serving.

If you don’t have copper mugs, serve these in your most festive cocktail glasses.
