How can you sneak vegetables past a picky eater? Is it healthy to have a vegetarian baby? What are some tips for surviving grocery shopping with kids? These are a few of the most popular questions and topics on Parent Earth, a new website devoted to "Videos about Food for Families."

Founded by Nicole Betancourt and Sarah Schenck, two filmmakers and moms, the site launched a couple of weeks ago and is already brimming with entertaining and educational videos ranging in topic from cooking to gardening, nutrition, and behavior. Encompassing pregnancy through childhood, the videos include recipes, expert advice, practical tips for sustainable living, songs, and more.

Some of the videos are produced in-house and feature pediatricians, nutritionists, chefs, and other experts – and real parents – while others have been hand-picked from around the Web. Parent Earth has also lined up corporate sponsorship with Happy Baby and Stonyfield Farm, as well as a number of non-profit and other partners.
