If you use a cast iron Dutch oven for warm, autumnal or winter dishes indoors, consider using it in summertime for outdoor cooking. These are a few examples of Dutch oven cooking in the great outdoors that we turned up from around the web:

You might have seen Dutch ovens used over open fires, hanging from a tripod armature over briquettes or a wood campfire. The heavy, simple vessel is terrific for providing even heat over a fire and can be used for the outdoor cooking of meats, roasting of vegetables, or even baking of bread.
