Our Place Just Opened Its First Retail Location and It’s More than You Ever Could Have Dreamed
If looking good while you’re cooking is just as important as the food itself, then you’re probably a fan of Our Place and its kitchenware. But if you’re like me and have only admired their products through your phone screen because you’re hesitant to make big purchases, I have some very good news for you. And trust me — it’s definitely something to be excited about.
Known as the largest digitally native kitchenware brand responsible for many of the aesthetically pleasing products in your Instagram feed, Our Place has finally opened its first retail location in Los Angeles. Officially opening its doors on Monday, November 21, the Abbot Kinney location is set to deliver a “truly welcoming space where there’s room for everyone to gather.”
Housed in a gorgeous Venice Beach bungalow, the space is set to carry both the brand’s signature products and brand-new items perfect for the gift-giving season. And just like its products, aesthetics will be the priority; customers will shop for products in a thoughtfully curated, interactive space designed by Our Place in partnership with Mythology and Ringo Studio.
What does that include, you ask? According to the brand, the space will boast textures like recycled ceramic tile surfaces and limewash painted walls, bright and cozy colors, sculptural displays, a back deck with an eye-catching tablescape, incredible murals, and more. But that’s not all. The space will also house the Our Place Café — equipped with tea, boba, haldi doodh, and other culturally rooted beverages to sip on while shopping — and a community-serving backyard for coming together.
While the flagship Abbot Kinney location is currently now open for you to peruse through, the second location — which will be found on Melrose — is set to open in the coming weeks.
