Do you spend too much time scrolling (and scrolling) through Instagram? Getting deeper and deeper as the minutes go by? Yeah, us too. Our biggest trigger? #Shelfies.

A pun-y play on words for a shelf selfie (get it?), trolling the hashtag often leaves us with a ton of design inspiration for our own kitchens and more than a few saved images on our phones. Here are a few favorite scenes that we’ve come upon recently.

1. Light, bright, and airy

This shot from Studio McGee is everything we love about a good shelfie — it’s clean, bright, organized, and full of dishes, proving that open shelving can be functional.

2. Farmhouse style

Check out all the quirky farmhouse inspiration that’s packed into this shot from interior designer Leanne Ford. Stacks of dishes are accompanied by vintage accessories like gold flatware and worn wood cutting boards. Also, those rustic brackets aren’t half bad either.

3. Dramatically moody

This shelfie from @Simplychivintage is filled to the brim with covetable retro elements, like colored stemware and playful brass objects. Set against an inky black wall, it makes for a stunningly edgy scene.

4. Green and gorgeous

Pots of perfectly overgrown greenery dot this trio of shelves from vintage curator Brittany of @thebalancedbull_vintage, finding a home in everything from traditional terra-cotta pots to baking crocks and even a tea kettle.

5. Purposefully artsy

Designer @cestesdesign finished off her shelves (filled with white ceramics and milk glass) with a quirky oil portrait. To copy the look, comb through flea markets or vintage stores for a piece that’s packed with personality.

6. Colorful and handmade

Ceramicist Michele Michaels’ shelfie is packed with functional, handmade pieces of ceramics that double as focal art. As the creative behind Elephant Ceramics, the colorful scene is just what you’d expect from her.

7. Inspirational

It’d be hard not to feel inspired in this kitchen from @___metka___. The kitchen is a work in progress, but this corner is looking pretty finished to us.

8. Makeshift open shelving

Worried your cabinets won’t look right if you just take the doors off? This photo from @andrianaverdi should be enough to convince you to make the leap.

9. Reclaimed and super smart

There’s so much we love about this shelfie, which was regrammed from @silicatestudio.shelfology. For starters, the wood is reclaimed. And look at that top shelf! The fact that it goes across the top of the window while most other shelves would stop before the frame, well, that’s just smart.

10. Pretty gorgeous

So this shelf (from @thisstyle_rocks) is technically more of a ledge and isn’t super functional, but it’s sure fun to look at. And that wallpaper!
