When British intelligence agents hacked into the website of an Al-Qaeda magazine, they did more than just delete pro-terrorism articles. The MI6 team (the UK’s version of the CIA) replaced bomb making instructions with instructions of a sweeter nature: recipes for mojito and rocky road cupcakes.

The recipe, which was once featured on the Ellen DeGeneres show, originated from an Ohio bakery. When the staff first heard the news they were shocked. They had no knowledge of Mi6 and had not shared their recipe. They insist that the recipe for their mojito cupcakes — described as white rum cake with hints of mint and lime covered in vanilla buttercream with a Mojito buttercream garnish — as well as the Rocky Road variety remain a secret.

I love the idea of cupcake hacking, however, if someone trying to make a bomb gets to see this recipe, why can’t the rest of us?

Do you have a great mojito or rocky road cupcake recipe to share?
