Tropicana Is Releasing a Cereal Designed to Be Eaten with Orange Juice
With so many milk alternatives currently available, we have more options than we’ll ever need for breakfast cereal combinations. The folks at Tropicana, however, thought we could use more and have announced the release of their Tropicana Crunch cereal. An orange juice company making cereal? How … innovative!
So what can you expect from this new bowled culmination of flavor? Well, the new Tropicana Crunch is made with honey almond clusters and is the “first-ever breakfast cereal created to pair with Tropicana Pure Premium.” Designed for you to “sip your sunshine and eat it, too,” having this in your cabinet is a guaranteed conversation starter for guests who pop by.
Although I’ve never tried the orange juice and cereal mashup myself, according to the brand, a recent survey showed that 15 million Americans have tried the cereal-and-OJ combination. What the study does not mention though is how many actually enjoyed it or had it a second time.
While the cereal won’t be in supermarket aisles, consumers will be able to snag a box while supplies last by visiting www.TropicanaCrunch.com beginning Wednesday, May 4. At that point, you’ll have a chance to join the 15 million people who’ve tried and lived to tell the tale. If you happen to like it, that’ll be a whole different conversation to be had.
As strange as it all sounds, the pairing really does make sense. Cereal and orange juice are two breakfast staples that we’ve been enjoying separately, so it’s only right they come together to make the ultimate breakfast dish. I don’t see orange juice and cereal replacing banana bread baked oats or these bacon, egg, and cheese stuffed savory pancakes as my favorite breakfast go-to’s, but it’s something I’ll definitely try. Once.
