Take Taco Bell and Add Booze

Taco Bell is making a push to be more popular among millennials — by offering booze. Earlier this week they announced their plans to open Taco Bell Cantina, a new eatery they hope will “redefine the fast food experience.”

The first Cantina will open in Chicago, with another to follow in San Francisco. Aimed at a younger, more urban crowd, the menu will feature beer and wine, as well as sangria and frozen alcoholic drinks at the west coast location. While you won’t find a drive-through, these restaurants will sport an open kitchen and include a tapas-style menu in addition to their regular offerings.
