This time of year, I’m always on the lookout for the moment when familiar favorites like candy corn and assorted fun-sized Halloween chocolates make their annual pilgrimage to grocery store shelves. Joining the regular suspects, however, is a whole slew of brand-new groceries parading into shopping carts this spooky season.

While I wasn’t necessarily spooked, I was truly shocked to find some real treats in this bunch. Here are the most exciting new groceries — including chickpea-based pizza and pumpkin pie-swirled yogurt! — to keep an eye out for this month and beyond.

1. Banza Pizza

Banza might be known as the chickpea pasta brand, but recently (two days ago, to be exact!) they’ve ventured into the frozen aisle with the launch of their new line of chickpea-based pizzas. The pies are available in Four Cheese, Margherita, and Veggie flavors. They also sell a Plain Crust option, which is the perfect blank canvas for creative customizations. Mine took just 13 minutes to bake up in the oven, and the resulting crust had a satisfying crunch. To whom it may concern: These pies are also gluten-free.

2. Ellenos Pumpkin Pie Greek Yogurt

This limited-time pumpkin pie Greek yogurt from Seattle-based Ellenos tastes like fall in a cup. There’s no other way to put it. It features a swirl of pumpkin purée and pumpkin cookie crumble, and when it’s all mixed together it tastes like dessert for breakfast. Get it while you can!

3. Cali’flour Foods Chicken Enchilada Bake

This low-carb, gluten-free twist on a comfort-food favorite is ready to eat after just five minutes in the microwave. This enchilada “bake” is a super-convenient option for a quick midday meal that involves no prep or cleanup. The tortillas layered within are made from, you guessed it, cauliflower. This flavorful dish is also part of a larger launch of frozen entrées from Cali’flour Foods that also includes Meat Lasagna, Vegetable Lasagna, and Vegetable Enchilada Bake.

4. Sweet Chaos Vanilla Chai Kettle Corn

There was absolutely zero question in my sweets-loving heart that I’d fall for this sweet-and-salty kettle corn topped with vanilla chai seasoning and a sweet white frosting drizzle. It’s the perfect snack to choose when all you want to do is curl up on the couch and watch a movie. I nearly ate the whole bag in one sitting, so I recommend maybe pouring a portion into a bowl if you want to make it last longer than the duration of Halloweentown.

5. Austin Eastciders Cranberry Cider

This cider is so pleasantly tart and refreshing that I highly recommend it for all of your fall imbibing needs. I love the design on the can and will continue to sip this on 85-degree October days in Florida, as I dream about the crisp fall days I enjoyed this time of year back when I lived in New York.

6. Yasso Sandwiches

These 140-calorie frozen Greek yogurt sandwiches are available in four flavors: mint, vanilla, fudge, and peanut butter. As far as favorites go, I particularly enjoyed the peanut butter one, which had gobs of the gooey stuff nestled within the frozen yogurt. The chocolate wafers are a bit soft, so I recommend keeping the plastic wrapper around the sandwich as you eat it — unless you don’t mind licking your fingers clean when you’re done.

7. Progresso Toppers

These soups could not be easier to prepare — you don’t even need a can opener! Simply pop them in the microwave for a minute and a half, stir, then add in the crunchy toppers that are conveniently packaged in a separate compartment. Flavors include Chicken Noodle with Oyster Crackers, Tomato Basil with Cheddar Crackers, Broccoli Cheese with Oyster Crackers, Chicken Tortilla with Tortilla Strips, and (my personal favorite) Loaded Potato with Fried Onion Strings.

Buy: Progresso Toppers, $4.19 for 12.2 ounces

8. Maggi Marketplace Bouillon Bases

I haven’t tried Better Than Bouillon, so I can’t compare, but I did stir a spoonful of Maggi Marketplace vegetable base into some quinoa as it was cooking and enjoyed the pop of flavor it added. The new Bouillon Base line also includes beef and chicken, all of which can be added to soups, stews, casseroles, stir-fries, and even Instant Pot and Crock-Pot recipes.
