If you don’t usually stray from the center aisles at Costco, expand your horizons (literally). Costco’s expansive freezer section is filled with enough options to take you into the next Ice Age. We’d even go as far as to say that it’s the very best place to discover fun, new-to-shelves products at Costco (especially now that Sample Stations are no more!).

Here are seven of the coolest new groceries on Costco’s freezer aisle.

1. Free Graze American Raised Bison Burgers, $16.89 for four

Are you searching for a beef alternative that isn’t plant-based? These bison burgers are a lighter and leaner option than traditional burgers. Cook the preformed patties on the stovetop or the grill and pile them high with all of your favorite fixings.

2. Australi’s All-Natural Barramundi, $15.99 for 2 pounds

Take a break from tilapia and serve barramundi instead. This fish goes by many names — perch, Asian sea bass, and more — but every fillet is buttery, flaky, and firm. Also, who knew that Costco is a leading purveyor of sustainable seafood?

3. Trident Seafoods Alaska Salmon Burgers, $15.99 for 12 patties

If you’re grilling burgers every week, add these salmon burgers to the lineup. They take no time to prep because you can cook them straight from frozen on a grill, stovetop, or even in the air fryer. Try them topped with mango salsa or served alongside this crunchy Japanese-inspired cucumber salad.

4. Sonoma Flatbreads Cauliflower Crust Pizza, $13.99 for two

Cauliflower crust pizzas are no stranger to the Costco freezer aisle, but this option is a newcomer. More akin to flatbread than pizza, this cruciferous-crusted beauty is topped with Beyond Meat sausage and gooey mozzarella cheese.

5. Tattooed Chef Organic Riced Cauliflower Stir-Fry, $8.99 for four 12-ounce bags

This brand has taken riced cauliflower a step further, tossing the cauliflower crumbles with peas, corn, and bell peppers to create an easy stir-fry base. They’ve even included a savory sesame-ginger sauce to season the side dish. Don’t worry, you don’t have to thaw the entire bag at once, there are four 12-ounce bags inside.

6. Salt & Sky Shrimp & Rice Noodles, $13.99 for two 17.5-ounce bags

The key to keeping up with meal prep these past few months is having some ready-to-eat meals on hand for the nights when you need a more serious break. This noodle bowl checks every box, with its tender rice noodles, sweet shrimp, and colorful veggies. Plus it’s ready in less than 10 minutes.

7. Jonny Pops, $12.99 for 16

Bring on the beachside vibes with these tropical pops, available in mango and pineapple-coconut flavors. They’re mixed with fresh cream which make these a hybrid popsicle-ice cream confection.
