The last couple days I’ve noticed a lot of people online praising the fact that January is over. It is a long month. Many people participate in “dry January” where they don’t drink alcohol for 31 days. Other people are feeling the burn of their New Year’s resolutions. So, it’s time for a reward. Let yourself hibernate a little bit more in February. Take a break, relax a little, and curl up with some quality movies this month.

Here are all the new things coming to Netflix, Hulu, Amazon Prime, and HBO this month.

Coming to Netflix

  • Ugly Delicious (February 23)

I’m so excited about this new show. It’s all about David Chang traveling the world (a la Bourdain), searching for food that breaks down cultural barriers. “Food is something we all have in common. It’s an essential part of who we are and how we create connections across cultures,” Chang said in a statement.

Coming to Hulu

  • Mystic Pizza (February 1)

Some might not consider this a real “food movie,” but I think food really does play an essential role. Daisy, Kat, and Jojo all work at a pizza shop together after graduating from high school. They navigate how they want the rest of their lives to look like, including who they ultimately want to be with.

  • Drinksgiving (February 13)

Protagonist Sarah Douglas throws a party the day before Thanksgiving and invites a whole bunch of friends she hasn’t seen in some time. As you might imagine, things don’t go as planned.

Coming to Amazon Prime

  • Mystic Pizza (February 1)

This classic ’80s movie is also coming out on Amazon Prime! See the trailer above under Hulu’s releases.

Coming to HBO

Nothing new this month.
