We want to make your experience here as part of The Kitchn’s community as productive and enjoyable as possible. We’ve got a long wishlist of goodies we’re working on to improve reader communication with each other and the editors and we’ll be rolling them out as soon as they are ready.

Today, we’re launching a new commenting feature: Daily Reply Notifications.

Here’s how it works:

Once a day we’ll check if there are any new direct replies to comments you wrote, and if there are we’ll send you an email to let you know. This email will include all the replies you got in the past day.

If you haven’t had any replies, you won’t be sent an email.

If you’d rather not receive this notification email, you can turn it off by changing your preferences in the Notifications Preferences of your profile.

Each notification email will also include links to unsubscribe or manage your preferences.

Our goal is to make it easier to keep the conversations going and we hope you find it helpful! Please share any other ideas for suggested improvements and features in the comments — we’d love to hear what you’d like to see us do.
