Natural Gourmet Institute Spring Catalog is Out
Once upon a time when I was shopping for culinary schools, I entertained the idea of attending the Chef’s Training Program at the Natural Gourmet Institute in Chelsea. Although I decided to go in a totally different direction and get more of a butter-based than a tempeh-based training, I still think the courses offered by the Natural Gourmet are worth checking out.
Their public classes (from one night workshops, to week-long intensives) have a bent toward vegetarian and health-supportive cuisines, covering topics from basics like Knife Skills and Bread-Making to more specialized classes like Wild Mushrooms as Medicine and Creating and Holistic Pregnancy.
