Welcome to Kitchn's new series My Favorite Healthy Recipes, where we show you how real people around the country (and even world) eat "healthy," however they choose to define that for themselves. Maybe you'll even find a few recipes to add to your own meal plan.

What Does Healthy Mean to You?
Healthy means eating what makes me feel good without worrying too much about a splurge here and there. We eat Whole 30-ish when we cook at home, which is most meals, and when we eat out we order what looks good to us! Keeping most of our meals nutrient-dense and sugar-free lets us have flexibility when we are not eating at home.
What Are Your Favorite "Healthy" Recipes?
1. Chipotle Pulled Pork Lettuce Wraps with Avocado Aioli from Fashionable Foods
First off, this tastes amazing and is my favorite dinner. Also, it cooks all day in the slow cooker and is ready when I come home from work. It can be plated nicely to look impressive, but usually it's thrown together quickly. All in all, this recipe is a big winner in my book.
2. Sheet Pan Fajitas from Laughing Spatula
Simple one-dish meals are what we need after working all day. The cleanup can happen while the fajitas are cooking in the oven, and the flavors always turn out great.
3. Buffalo Chicken Salad from Stupid Easy Paleo
We take a shortcut and use a rotisserie chicken to make this. The hot sauce spices things up from our standard green salad. I always go to this recipe when I'm in meal planning rut; the whole batch can be our lunches for nearly a week.
