Warming Winter Punch, No Alcohol Needed

Warming Winter Punch, No Alcohol Needed

Winter parties (and quiet evenings at home, for that matter) call for a glass of something hot and special. This sweet and spicy mulled punch is a welcome nonalcoholic alternative to cocktails and ciders. It's made with a rich blend of fruit, including blackcurrant, which gives it a wine-like tannic body.

And while it's a great non-alcoholic drink, it's also very good when mixed with warmed red wine. This and other Belvoir products seem easy enough to find in the U.K., but they're more expensive and rarer in the States; I've found this at Terrain; they offer this and others seasonally.

Here's another from Belvoir I'm about to try:

This is another blend of citrus, berries, and blackcurrant, with loads of spices, such as nutmeg and clove. Another delicious yet special drink for anyone not looking for wine or cocktails this Christmas.
