For so many of us, this July has a been an exceptionally hot one. For me, that’s meant barely turning the oven on when dinner rolls around and leaning heavily on quick-cooking — or, better yet, no-cook — solutions.

You all mostly felt the same way, as many of the top new recipes from the past month were extra-light and fresh, like creamy cucumber salad and no-mayo coleslaw. Although there were a few times when it was well worth turning the oven on, like to make cheesy eggplant casserole or triple-layer Key lime bars.
