Instacart, like most companies, is collecting our data. That’s right. The grocery delivery app, which we’ve been heavily relying on these days, knows what groceries we’re shopping for, when we’re shopping for them, and how often we’re replenishing them. *They’re watching us.*

So, what are they doing with all of this juicy info about our collective grocery shopping tendencies? The company recently analyzed all that data — and collected more data from a survey of 2,050 adults — to generate predictions on food trends and shopping habits for 2021. One interesting observation? Instacart predicts that “the keto diet will continue rising in popularity.” It’s not going anywhere anytime soon, people! Of those surveyed, 28 percent of those who reported trying a diet this year said that “keto” was their diet of choice. They have more info to back that up, of course: Instacart sales data also shows an increase in keto-specific groceries, reporting a 72 percent increase in year-over-year sales of products with “keto” in their name, to be exact.

Here are the top 10 keto-sepcific items that people have been shopping for in 2020. Instacart predicts these will continue to be sought after in 2021, so you might want to get your orders in now.
