Thanksgiving may be wrapped up and in the back of our minds, but that doesn’t mean turkey has gone along with it. While the most famous bird of November may be the star of the biggest culinary event each year, it’s also quite popular throughout the entire holiday season.

According to a study conducted by the wellness experts over at Eden’s Gate, turkey happens to be ranked as the most Instagrammable festive food. The study, which was compiled by using Instagram hashtag insights at the end of November for 16 food and drink items, revealed that turkey was hashtagged almost 70,000,000 times! That’s a lot of bird talk if you ask me.

While that large number may not be surprising to some, what might be is the food item that came in the second spot. And no, it’s actually not potatoes. Coming in at 3,781,680 hashtags, carrots seem to entice Instagram users more than one may have thought each holiday season. Also included on this list is the most Instagrammable festive drink — Baileys with 1,195,903 hashtags — and other food and drink items including gravy, stuffing, egg nog, Yule log, Brussels sprouts, and more.

So if you were wondering what to throw on your Christmas dinner menu this year to get your guests talking and sharing, I think it’s safe to let turkey make another grand appearance.
