Monday Breakfast: How Do You Start Off Your Week?
As we sprinkled cinnamon over our cottage cheese and fruit this morning and reminisced about the weekend, we were struck by how differently we eat on weekdays and weekends.
No matter how (or what or when!) we’ve eaten over the weekend, it always feels good to return to this simple breakfast on Monday morning.
How do you like to start off your week?
Getting up to our normal breakfast on Monday morning has become a ritual to transition us into the week. Cottage cheese and fruit is one we enjoy and have actually eaten for years with very little variation. For us, it’s a perfect balance of taste and function.
On the weekends, we feel a little more freedom. We’re more concerned with a breakfast over which we can linger and relax instead of one that will fuel us to lunch time.
