Milk Bar x Made In Is the Sweet Collab You Didn’t Know You Needed
When I was a wee editor working in New York City more than a decade ago, I couldn’t attend any company meeting or press event without platters of decadent multi-layer cakes, cookies, and truffles from Milk Bar also being present. Fast forward a few years, and boxes upon boxes of Milk Bar cookies started to line the shelves at my local grocery store. Well, now, you can count Milk Bar merch holding it down in my kitchen with the new Milk Bar x Made In bakeware collaboration.
Starting today November 1, you can pre-order the exclusive collab: an 8×8-inch square porcelain baking dish with an inky-black rim and Milk Bar logo. This way, when you’re making sweet treats (may we suggest these no-bake chocolate peanut butter diamonds from founder Christina Tosi’s latest cookbook?), you can show ‘em off in all their glory.
The square baking dish is made in Loire Valley, France, from a 200-plus-year-old porcelain recipe. It’s naturally nonstick so you don’t have to worry about stuck-on bits, and thermal-shock resistant so you can easily take the dish from oven to table without worrying about cracks.
The pre-order starts today, and we’d suggest getting your name on the waitlist stat, before orders become open to the public on November 3. Even though I’m no longer sitting in physical team meetings, you can bet I’ll be using the Milk Bar x Made In bakeware to whip up treats for all my Zoom meetings.
