What challenge have you overcome in your kitchen? We moved the gas line to put the stove into an existing “nook” and at the same time made room for the fridge to fit without blocking the doorway. After adding vintage appliances, re-painting the cabinets, and a fun VCT floor; the kitchen had a great old feel to it!

What’s the story of your kitchen?
Bought an old 1930’s double bungalow that needed a complete renovation. The kitchen was awkwardly laid out with a fridge blocking a doorway and awkward placement of the stove. We were able to move the gas line for the stove, make room for the fridge, and use vintage appliances and formica countertops with metal edge to give it a great period feel.

What is your favorite meal to cook here?
Any meal with friends – from a good night of Mexican food to comfort foods in the winter, friends always have fun in the kitchen (it’s quite the conversation piece!).
