Master a New Skill with This Sake Brewing Kit

These days there are DIY kits out there for everything from beer to bitters. You can even infuse your own gin! So why wouldn’t there be a kit for sake enthusiasts? Luckily, there is one, and for anyone who is a fan of the rice wine, it’s the perfect way to get started down the path of brewing your own.

The kit includes everything you’ll need to brew one gallon of sake, aside from a couple of pantry staples — including white raisins and sugar. Like with most brewing kits, it will take some time before you’re able to enjoy your finished product. After the last hands-on step, the instructions recommend waiting at least two months before drinking to give the sake time to fully mature.
