Eight months ago, Mark Wahlberg and wife Rhea Durham listed their lavish North Beverly Park estate on the market for a staggering $87.5 million price tag. Tucked away in what is known as the most exclusive gated community on the West Coast, the 30,500-square foot chateau, designed by well-known architect Richard Landry, is an incredible two-story home which sits on six acres of land and acts as its own private country club.

Now sporting freshly staged interiors, new listing photos, and a new listing agent, Mark and Rhea’s estate has been re-listed at a surprisingly reduced ask of $79.5 million dollars — a cool $8 million less than the original ask.

Designed over the course of five years, Mark and Rhea originally purchased the vacant lot back in 2009 for $8.25 million. The entire project was completed in 2014 and now features the main mansion — which has a grand total of 12 bedrooms and 20 bathrooms — and six other structures spread out across the land.

Upon arriving at the entrance of the estate, the new owner and guests will be greeted with an awe-inspiring two-story entry lobby that boasts a beautiful bridal staircase leading to an extravagant multi-level living room, dining room, and two-story paneled library. On the main level of the home, an enormous kitchen/family room offers multiple pantries, an entirely separate prep kitchen, and both staff quarters and offices.

When exploring the lower level, you’ll find a top-of-the-line home theater, full gym, and a wine and cigar cellar with a tasting/smoking lounge. And if that’s not cool enough, the main level opens up to large patios and sprawling green lawns. Large manicured gardens tie the six-acre grounds together while a five-hole golf course with driving range and a tennis court make the space a giant adult playground. Other notable outdoor features include a resort-style grotto pool, a skate park, and a beautiful guest house.

While the new listing price is not what the celebrity couple originally wanted, if the estate were to sell, it would put them — and new listing agent Carl Gambino of Compass Real Estate — on the map for the most expensive property ever sold in North Beverly Park. And if you ask me, that’s a win any way you look at it.

In the meantime, you can check out all the details of the listing here, and for other notable celebrity listings be sure to check out Ciara and Russell Wilson’s Seattle lakefront mansion, as well as Kylie Jenner and Travis Scott’s Beverly Hills mansion — which has “a kitchen that’s to die for.”
