Make These Peanut Butter Swirl Brownies Tonight
The classic combo of peanuts and chocolate can do no wrong — especially when it comes to brownies. That said, most recipes that have this tasty combination feel a little lopsided. You take a bite and are hoping for the perfect pairing of peanut butter and chocolate in your mouth, but the peanut butter seems like an afterthought. This recipe, however, is a perfect 50-50 mash-up.
Oh, did I mention they’re also filled with chopped peanut butter cups? Yeah.
This recipe is not exactly simple. It’s the type that falls into the category of more is more and I’m super down with that.
To bring the recipe together, you start with the basic brownie recipe from Sally’s Baking Addiction. Then you mix up the peanut butter swirl portion made from peanut butter, confectioner’s sugar, vanilla, and butter. The peanut butter cups are mixed into the chocolate portion and each mixture is placed in a pan, dollop by dollop, and swirled together.
The struggle might be real to not consume the entire pan in one evening. You’ve been warned.
