Ice Cream Cone Cupcakes! An Easier Way to Make This Nostalgic Treat

I've tried to make ice cream cone cupcakes a time or two in the past but I never quite had enough of them to fill the pan. There may or may not have been casualties in the oven, but next time around I'll take this great advice and make them upside down!

Cupcakes served in ice cream cones can be nostalgic for some of us, and it's a great way to serve your goods or even icing them without getting messy fingers. They make things easy to ice and are all around crowd pleasers (especially in the under-5 crowd). The only problem — they frequently fall over in the oven!

Steph at the aptly named Steph's Bite by Bite has discovered a simple way around this. Go ahead and line your cupcake tray with papers, fill the cups as normal and then add the cones to the top. The cupcake will puff up into it and when it's done, the paper can be released and you can ice it up lickety-split. Want to see how it's done?
