If you believe the best breakfast smoothies boast a taste of the tropics, this is the smoothie kit you need to keep in your freezer. It comes together with a medley of sweet topical fruits partnered with a pop of pungent fresh ginger and the warm flavor and golden hue of turmeric.

What to Add to This Smoothie Kit

This kit comes together with four fruity ingredients, plus a liquid of your choice and a dash of turmeric when it’s time to blend. Here’s what you’ll need.

mango + pineapple + banana + fresh ginger

Before adding the ingredients, I think it’s most helpful to label the bag with the name of the smoothie and what you’ll need to add when you blend it up (more on that below!). For each smoothie kit, to a freezer bag add the following ingredients:

  • About 1/2 cup frozen mango
  • 1/2 cup frozen pineapple chunks
  • 1/2 sliced banana
  • 1 teaspoon chopped fresh ginger
  • 1 teaspoon of ground turmeric

If you want to keep things as quick and convenient as possible, start with a few bags of frozen fruit from the grocery store. Or if you prefer to start fresh, cut up the selection of fresh fruit, then freeze on a baking sheet before assembling the kits. Remember you can also wash and reuse your freezer bags.

Here’s How to Blend It Up

For each smoothie, add about 1 cup of coconut water or any type of milk (dairy or non-dairy). Dump in the smoothie kit and blend.
