Although most folks associate Summer with camping Spring has just as many outdoor enthusiasts. If you're getting ready to gear up for a hike or just a night away from home, this simple spice kit can deliver big flavors when you're on the go — for just $1!

Over at Dollar Store Crafts they've been busy assembling some of their favorite salts for on the go seasoning. Heather Mann gave these kits as gifts to the men in her family during the holidays and filled them all with different salts and spices, giving everyone the chance to enjoy every meal they eat, just the way they like it.

The kit is made from a daily pill container found at her local dollar store and filled with spices from home. It's perfect for camping and adds a little extra protection that zip top bags might not offer as they can puncture easily.

Although it's probably not appropriate to whip out a kit of this nature when you're invited over to your in-laws for dinner, a small purse sized version might come in handy during a bad restaurant experience (thank you co-workers who always seem to have the worst taste in food) or while traveling to save yourself from hotel food!
