Ice cream and nail polish may seem like an unlikely combination, but if you’ve ever taken a photo of a stunning ice cream cone in your hand and wished you had a fresh manicure, you’re not alone. So, when we found out that Magnum ice cream and Nails.INC (a London-based nail polish company) were teaming up, we were immediately on board.

On the food front, Magnum has launched Duets ice cream bars, which they claim is the first ice cream bar to be dipped in two different kinds of chocolate. True to form, the self-proclaimed “chocolatiers of ice cream” have used high-quality ingredients to make them, including Belgian chocolate for the Duet cracking shell.

At launch, Magnum Duets come in three flavors: Almond Duet, Chocolate Duet, and Cookie Duet. The Almond Duet Bars feature almond ice cream with a brown sugar almond butter swirl, and are dipped in milk chocolate with almonds and dark chocolate. The Chocolate Duet Bars have a vanilla ice cream and raspberry swirl base that’s dipped in white chocolate and milk chocolate. And last but not least is the Cookie Duet Bars, which have creamy vanilla ice cream with a chocolate ganache swirl, dipped in white chocolate with both chocolate cookie pieces and milk chocolate.

As far as nail polish goes, there are six chocolate-scented shades from Nails.INC. To create a nail art look inspired by the Almond Duet Bars, you can pair the Glazed Almond (buttery light brown) and Double Chocolate (rich dark brown). Or, you can match the Chocolate Duet Bars with Raspberry Swirl (vibrant hot pink) and White Chocolate (silky light pink). For a Cookie Duet Bar look, the corresponding nail polish shades are Crunchy Cookie (classic beige) and Classic Chocolate (chocolatey brown). How deliciously cute!

I don’t know about you, but I can’t wait to match my manis with my ice cream this summer. Which combo will you try first?
