It's fairly common now to see magnetic knife strips in kitchens, but every time I do see them, I'm reminded once again how great they are: it's such a simple, affordable, and functional storage solution for knives, all without taking up precious counter or drawer space.

You also get the added bonus of a sculptural-type piece in your kitchen, especially when it's installed on a black background. Something about the jagged lines and varying heights all in a row... I don't know. It just works for me.

Do you have a magnetic knife strip in your kitchen? Do you love it?
