We love the look of knives hanging from wall-mounted magnetic knife strips. The knife strips clear up clutter from the counter and open up the space so it’s free and clear for what we all love to do most — cook. Magnetic knife strips make really easy DIY projects but if you’re looking to purchase one, we found five handmade strips from Etsy.

Magnetic Knife Holder — Hard Maple by DunnWrightWoodWorks, $75.00: This knife holder is our favorite of the bunch because it’s modern and straight to the point. The simple design is what makes this holder so attractive. It’s made from varying degrees of tiger maple grain (may differ slightly from the original image). Measures 18″ long by 2″ wide, about 1″ thick and handmade in Portland.
Magnetic Knife Strip by Culinarium, $29.00: Handmade magnetic strip composed of layers of compressed paper. Measures 3″x5″. It’s a smaller strip so it will accomodate two to three knives. It is non-porous and soft enough that it will not scratch your knives.
Honey Locust Knife Rack by Koepckewoodworks, $35.00: Measures 18″ x 2″ x 3/4″. Solid Honey Locust hardwood with embedded rare earth magnets. Solid wood surface holds blades firmly without dulling or marring knife blades. Finished with natural non toxic varnish oil. Two brass mounting screws included.
Magnetic Knife Strip by Culinarium, $49.00: Measures 2.5×12″. The strip is composed of compressed paper sheets in a phenolic resin. This strip will hold four to five knives easily, depending on the size of the knives. The black strip looks great with the bright stainless steel knives.
Claro Walnut Magnetic Knife Rack by BurgeOnWood, $160.00: Measures 16″ long of continuous claro walnut wood, this knife rack looks like a piece of art for the kitchen. It can easily be mounted to the wall with appropriate screws and looks like it came straight from a sail boat!
