There’s no stopping Made In! The DTC cookware company kicked off May with the launch of a classic fry pan in a limited-edition iridescent purple (it sold out within days!), and they’re ending the month with the launch of two incredibly clever and functional products: the Blue Carbon Steel Grill Frying Pan and the Sheet Pan, which are guaranteed to bring joy (and convenience) to your summer cooking and beyond! Both items are currently available for preorder right now and will ship beginning June 12 . But given Made In’s history of consistently sold-out products, we recommend you don’t hold off if you’re thinking of getting either pan. Without further ado, let’s take a closer look at both of the new launches!

Blue Carbon Steel Grill Frying Pan

The 11-inch Carbon Steel Grill Frying Pan is inspired by Made In’s cult-favorite Blue Steel Frying Pan, which keeps selling out. The only difference? This pan has 62 spaced-out perforations that allow the heat from a grill or flame (up to 1,200 F!) to char food to utter perfection. The pan weighs a little over three pounds and is incredibly lightweight and convenient to pack for camping trips. It’s also fitted with Made In’s signature curved handle that makes it easy to flip and toss food without putting a strain on your wrist. While you can use the pan on any kind of outdoor grill or over an open flame, it’s also handy for weeknight grilling over a gas stove or in the oven. Plus, once you season the pan it develops non-stick properties that makes it easy to cook in, as well as clean!

Sheet Pan

This isn’t just any ordinary half sheet pan. Originally designed for Chef Matt Horn’s new barbecue restaurant in West Oakland, the affordable sheet pan is made from commercial-grade aluminum with an enviable 18-gauge thickness. The durable aluminum ensures quick and even heating, while the raised, curved rims give you the flexibility to cook everything from thick brownies to saucy meats, vegetables, and seafood. The pan is built to take on temperatures up to 450 F, and it’s also freezer safe, so you’ll never have to worry about it warping out of shape. Right now, 100 percent of the proceeds from the sales will benefit the West Oakland community affected by the pandemic. So there’s also the added satisfaction of knowing that you’ve helped out a good cause every time you bake!
