Look What IKEA Finally Offers!
You guys, IKEA is finally launching a gift registry! It’s true. You can now create shop-able wish lists for weddings, baby showers, housewarmings, or any other special occasion that calls for people to buy you presents. Presents, we say!
To make a registry, you have to be an IKEA Family member, but that’s free and you get a ton of discounted deals throughout the year, so you really should sign up for that anyway. Once that’s done, you can create a registry on your phone (download the IKEA Gift Registry app), online here, or in a store at a special registry kiosk.
If you’re setting up the registry in a store (and you need a ton of stuff), there’s a “snap photo function,” which lets you add a bunch of products from the room — plus services like home delivery or delivery with assembly.
As a shopper browsing someone else’s registry, you can chip in toward the total price of an item (like a pricier VALLENTUNA sofa), buy a gift card for the exact amount of a specific gift, or simply buy the item (duh).
To celebrate, IKEA is also giving away $1,000 gift cards to three registry entrants. It’s worth a shot, right?
