Lidl Is Selling a Thanksgiving Meal for Under $30 — Here’s All That Comes with It
Shopping for a Thanksgiving meal can be a bit overwhelming — especially if you’re on a budget. Even in the years that I’ve spent Thanksgiving alone, I’ve had a difficult time deciding what to make for myself while keeping it all under a specific dollar amount. Between the increased price of turkey and making sure you have your ideal variety of fixings, Thanksgiving on a budget is not always easy. Thankfully, though, Lidl grocery stores are here to change up that notion with a deal you just can’t beat: a Thanksgiving meal for under $30.
Bringing back the savings for yet another year, Lidl is allowing shoppers to assemble a traditional Thanksgiving meal that feeds up to 10 people for just under $30. Now, if you’re thinking that the turkey can’t come with the deal, you may be surprised to know that a whopping 13-pound bird is also included in the deal. Shocked? Don’t worry, I was too!
The German discount retailer is pricing each frozen turkey at $0.49 per pound, which is $1.50 less than the national average, allowing shoppers to get the biggest bang for their buck. Also included in the deal? All the fixings for a delicious Thanksgiving dinner including a pumpkin pie mix, two pie crusts, one gallon of milk, a stalk of celery, baby carrots, sweet peas, fresh cranberries, a 3-pound bag of sweet potatoes, heavy whipping cream, turkey stuffing mix, and Hawaiian Sweet Rolls.
“We are proud to offer shoppers at Lidl a delicious Thanksgiving dinner with all the fixings for less than $30,” Stefan Schwarz, Lidl U.S. chief product officer, said. “We hope our low prices give families some financial relief as they come together this holiday season.”
This very sweet Thanksgiving deal is all available through Lidl’s free-to-use loyalty program, myLidl. Currently available at all Lidl U.S. stores, the deal — which was valued by the American Farm Bureau Federation (AFBF) at more than $53 — is shoppable until November 24 (the day before Thanksgiving) or until your local store runs out.
