My Favorite New Kitchen Tool Is, Surprisingly, This Silicone Lemon Squeezer
My friend Bethia, who has very good taste, turned me on to this unlikely gadget. She says that her mother gave it to her, and it sat in a drawer for years until she actually tried it. Suddenly, she was converted — and now so am I, and here’s why.
This squeezer/storage device looks gimmicky, but I can vouch for its usefulness. Essentially, it’s a silicone pouch that holds half a lemon and lets you squeeze out just enough juice when you need it. No seeds, no mess.
I constantly have half a lemon sitting around for my morning cup of lemon water or my evening cocktails, and this keeps it so neat and handy. I store it in the fridge and it saves me from using yet another piece of plastic wrap or a baggie.
A rare gadget that is actually getting some use every day here!
