We get very excited every time Le Creuset adds a new color to its line. It’s fun to see what the French brand dreams up and think about how a new introduction would mix and match with what we already have in our kitchens. And right now, we are very, very, very excited — yes, three verys — because Le Creuset just launched THREE new colors this morning!

See, usually the brand only comes out with one color at a time. But this morning, Le Creuset launched a new “color palette” of three calming colors that are all on-trend and meant to go together. Or at the very least, live in the same color family.

We got to see these new colors last night (NIGHT being the key word here, so please forgive our extremely dark photograph!) and couldn’t wait to show you guys.

“A luxurious ivory tone inspired by the classic French confection, Meringue is soft, soothing, and elegant,” the brand says. It’s extremely soft and downright creamy. This color is now available at Le Creuset and will soon be at Williams Sonoma.

Is Sea Salt green? Is it blue? Is it gray? It’s actually a mix of all three — and some other subtle undertones, too. Says the brand: “Sea Salt exudes calm with hints of muted blue and pale green, inspired by the subtle tones of fleur de sel.” This was our favorite of the three and it’s now available at Le Creuset and at Sur la Table.

3. Fig

People who like purple really like purple — and Fig feels like a super-mature version of the hue. “An earthy, deep violet infused with subtle brown tones, Le Creuset’s Fig is a comforting complement to any neutral palette,” the brand explains. It’s definitely got a hint of brown, which is maybe what makes it feel so grown-up. Look for it at Le Creuset and Crate & Barrel.
