Le Creuset Just Released an Iconic New Color That’s Going to Take Over Your Instagram Feed
If you get emails from Sur la Table, you may have heard that the retailer has a new, exclusive Le Creuset color. If you don’t get these emails, that’s okay, because you have Kitchn and it’s literally my job to monitor that sort of stuff.
I saw the new color this morning and seriously can’t stop thinking about it. It’s quintessentially fall-y, neutral yet still brilliant, warm, and down-to-earth. Any guesses as to what this new hue may be?
It’s mushroom! Well, technically (and more fancily), Morel. “Inspired by a variety of mushroom beloved by chefs, Morel pairs the earthy tones of the forest floor with warm bronze accents,” the retailer explains. It totally reminds me of this old stoneware stuff that my parents used to have — only in enameled cast iron and with a slightly more modern feel to it.
The new color is available exclusively at Sur la Table and comes in a few pieces including a 2.75-quart Dutch oven, a 6.75-quart Dutch oven, and a 3.5-quart buffet casserole with glass lid. And because Sur la Table is currently running an anniversary sale, you can get some good deals on the new color (and even older ones). Plus, you can use the code “SHIPFREE” to get free shipping when you spend $59 or more.
New Le Creuset Morel Pieces and their Prices
As I said before, this color just feels so appropriate for fall. It just feels like something you’d make mac and cheese or chili in, no? Of course, no one switches out their $300 pot by the season, so if you’re not feeling the fall look of this new color, you might be interested in this other new option.
What do you think of the new color?
